Depicted is a small detached group of Polish infantry and French line artillary soldiers flanked each side by French Foot dragons and Wurttemburg infantry struggling through the snow.

This is in part inspired by your decision to create a Borodino big box. The retreat was as much part of the ill fated Bonaparte 1812 Russian campaign as any of the conflicts. I hope that there will be some elements of the retreat in your future sets.

This is my first attempt at a diorama and my future wish is to create a large Moscow retreat diorama in the future, with primarily Strelets figures to the fore.
